Rodi · Cécile is a multidisciplinary interior and landscape design practice working across the UK and Europe. With roots in France, Scandinavia and Britain, our work is grounded in materiality, craft and the quiet beauty of intentional living, spanning both contemporary spaces and historic settings.
We design spaces with depth and narrative – environments shaped by proportion, atmosphere and a refined sense of composition. Our practice moves fluidly between interior architecture, bespoke joinery and landscape thinking, allowing each project to unfold as a coherent, sculptural whole, whether working with new structures or buildings rich in existing character.
A distinctive part of our work lies in antiques, characterful objects and reclaimed materials, giving every interior a sense of history, permanence and soul.
Our process is slow, intentional and deeply collaborative. We listen carefully, research thoroughly and work closely with artisans and clients. Each project is shaped with clarity, curiosity and care – resulting in spaces that last, breathe and carry emotional depth.
Every project begins with a sensitivity to place and an instinct for how form, light and texture can shape emotion.
Rodi · Cécile takes on a limited number of projects each year, partnering with private residential clients, boutique hospitality brands and creative businesses seeking environments with depth, beauty and long-term resonance.
We design interiors from the inside out — shaping flow, proportion, volume and the emotional experience of moving through a space. We collaborate closely with structural architects and our in-house team to ensure each space is coherent, functional and visually grounded. Our work spans:
interior architectural layouts;
kitchen & bathroom direction;
bespoke joinery concepts;
spatial sequencing & circulation;
integration of architecture with interior atmosphere.
Materiality is at the core of our practice. We develop layered, tactile palettes rooted in natural materials, craftsmanship and longevity. Every material is selected with intention, emphasising depth, warmth and a quiet sense of presence. This includes:
stone, timber & metal specifications;
colour and finish palettes;
bespoke detailing & transitions;
surface treatments and textural studies.
We curate furniture, lighting, textiles, vintage pieces and bespoke craftsmanship to create spaces that feel lived-in, grounded and personal. Our FF&E work includes:
furniture curation;
textile & soft furnishing design;
vintage & antique sourcing;
bespoke commissions with makers;
styling direction for finished spaces;
bespoke joinery.
Our landscape approach mirrors our interiors: sensory, structured and deeply connected to place. We design:
planting palettes & seasonal structure;
edible gardens & herb landscapes;
courtyard atmospheres;
pathways, thresholds & garden architecture;
indoor–outdoor integration.
For experiential and small-scale commercial projects, we craft spaces where narrative, sensory design and functionality align. We work with cafés, boutique hotels, bakeries, farm-to-table concepts, ateliers and creative retail environments.
We support brands, artists and studios with:
creative direction;
styling & editorial concepts;
material research;
atmospheric storytelling;
spatial identity development.
We begin by listening, understanding your home, your lifestyle and the atmosphere you want to live in. This phase includes early conversations, site visits (or digital walkthroughs), and collecting existing plans and imagery. It sets the emotional and functional foundation for the project.
We develop the overarching vision: flow, palette, proportion, materials, lighting philosophy and the sensory identity of the space. This phase is where the project’s “soul” takes shape, a framework that guides every decision moving forward.
We refine the architecture and interiors in tandem. This includes joinery concepts, kitchen and bathroom direction, material palettes, detailing, lighting placement, and the integration of landscape with interior atmosphere. Craftsmanship and coherence lead the process.
We select furniture, lighting, textiles, hardware, stone, vintage pieces and bespoke items from makers. We curate the emotional layer of the home- the pieces that bring warmth, presence and identity.
We collaborate with contractors, landscapers and artisans throughout the build. We offer support with technical review, material queries, mockups, and site coordination, ensuring that the final result matches the vision with clarity and precision.
